“Real-time integration of beta-version ground-level ozone data products” is practically our middle name.

At the recent BEST AQI Leadership Institute, educators learned from Patricia Udomprasert how to use our TEMPO Lab to support their work with high schoolers. These educators guide teens in gathering data to inform community air quality plans, while developing valuable data literacy skills.

When new ground-level ozone data became available from NASA during the workshop, our software engineer and educator John Lewis integrated it into the tool overnight. The new product was waiting in TEMPO Lab when attendees arrived at the workshop the next day. The update gave educators another way to engage teens by giving them access to the same cutting-edge data scientists use. Read more on the NASA Science blog.
